That is what the batters on the Atlanta roster were thinking when they ran into the red hot Jake Westbrook yesterday. Westbrook was incredible in his six inning effort in which he refused to surrender a hit, walk or run. Westbrook faced eighteen batters in total, striking out eight.

The Indians have been trying to negotiate a contract with Cy Young winner C.C. Sabathia. Talks have been hualted and according to Mark Shapiro are not expected to continue until after the 2008 season. This means that the Indians will have Sabathia this year, but after that is still undecided.
