Rays Dominating in Boston

Rays Looking to Sweep

The Tampa Bay Rays magic season will continue today as they look to sweep the Chicago White Sox out of the ALDS.
The Rays won game one 6-4 behind James Shields and game two 6-2 behind Scott Kazmir.  Kazmir struggled early in game two, but hung in there and helped get his club the win.

Tampa Bay Loses in Detroit Again

For the second consecutive day the Tampa Bay Rays lost to the Detroit Tigers.  However, it looks like the Boston Red Sox will lose tonight which would make the Ray the American League East Champions.  The Rays 6-4 loss on Friday drops the Rays to 96-64.

The Tampa Bay Rays split the first two games of their series in Seattle against the Mariners.  The Mariners won on a walk off homer on Thursday 2-1 and the Rays came back with a win on Friday 5-3.  The Rays remain in first place in the American League Central with a record of 69-46.
