For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Brian Borawsi and I’ve been covering the Tigers for over three years at my website Tigerblog. For the past year and a half, I’ve been busy talking to and recruiting writers to blog about their favorite teams. While this in and of itself isn’t all that exciting, all of the sites have a secondary focus and that is covering their teams past. Whether it’s through Season Lookbacks (see Black Sox Blog for an example of this), Player Retrospectives (Tom Seaver Fan Club is doing one on, well, Tom Seaver of course) or full season diaries (like what I’m doing at Reds Cutting Edge on the 1976 season), each site will be doing something to educate readers on the history of their respective teams. Most of this will take place during the offseason when there’s less to talk about, but right now, there’s four ongoing season diaries that you can check out.
What this site does is pull all of the feeds from each of the sites in the network so you have one handy place to check for content. On occassion, this site will also have some exclusive content which I’m working on as we speak. And as time goes by, I’m hoping to add sites for each of the major league teams. Next will be a Red Sox blog as well as a site that covers everything and anything regarding the All Star Game.
